small update and words of hope

I want to provide a quick update on what is going on with my orthodontic work.

I am seeing Dr. Gibbs of Michigan at the following office.

John Stepanovich, DDS
General Dentist
260 Jefferson Ave
Grand Rapids, MI 49503
Tel. (616) 459-1267

Let’s look back a year ago, when I first discovered that the orthodontic work I had done at age 18 (I’m now 24) was detrimental to my health and physical appearance.

I had crowding and the ortho back then extracted four bicuspids.

A year ago I was hunting for orthodontist that would provide expansion for my palate and reverse what had been done. I had seen over 10 orthodontists in Michigan. ALL of them told me what I was trying to do was not possible.

Some of them claimed to be “a specialist in TMJ”, “Functional Orthodontist”, “DAMON braces orthodontist”, “DNA appliance Orthodontist”

They were all rejecting me and some even flat out told me they do not want to deal with my case because it is just too complex and beyond their skills and knowledge as an orthodontist. At least those orthos were humble enough to admit that lol.

But some ignorant ones told me to just give up and accept… “your teeth looks fine.”

Needless to say, I left many of those consultations feeling hopeless, defeated, and angry.

I was getting desperate, I had just graduated college and now looking for a full time job, I was super motivated and driven, I thought If I had to die trying  I will get this.

I contemplated moving to California to see Dr. Hang. because his youtube videos was evidence that what I was trying to do was possible. which is to reverse 4 bicuspid extractions and get the 4 bicuspids back via implants. Produce a wider dental arch/smile.

Fortunately I was armed with plenty knowledge at this point, I did not allow any orthodontist to simply write me off. And shockingly I began to see that most orthodontists have no idea what they are talking about at all. Then the reality of the orthodontic profession began to unfold, most of these doctors just go to orthodontic schools and learn the basic, and this basic is really stuck in the stone ages when it comes to viewing teeth as a separate thing from rest of our face. They think if we can just straighten teeth at whatever cost then the personal will become beautiful. And these doctors spend their entire life just doing what they were taught back in school long ago. They fail to advance their knowledge in orthodontics for whatever reason they are just not driven to seek out something beyond ordinary orthodontic work.

Most are totally off in their approach when they view the teeth as separate from the rest of the body. yes the teeth can affect the body and face, more precisely the size of the palate can have, sometimes to a shocking degree, quite dramatic affect on the face, breathing capacities, and mental/emotional side.

Nature intended us to have the 4 bicuspids. It’s not genetics that cause us to have narrow palates.  We are suppose to have the 4 bicuspids, so why do orthodontist think it is okay to tamper with nature?

I will be one year into treatment in August.

I have expanded my palate considerably. Both lower and the upper. I have 4 mm out of 7 mm of space that has opened up on the bottom palate for my bicuspids. On the uppers I have similar progress. I have pretty big gaps now where I used to have bicuspids. My palate is now definately bigger than What I had even before my first orthodontic treatment.

I had always thought I had a narrow face. My face is now getting wider. as It does I am seeing my eyes are becoming more symmetrical on both sides.

The dark pockets in the corner of my mouth when I smile is beginning to fill with teeth as my molars expand out.

As we advance not only sideways but forward as well as we bring the front arch more forward by creating new bone growth forward and also tipping the teeth out forward. I am getting lip support which I like very much.

When I smile the gums that used to be exposed a lot is reducing considerably.

When I talk I have a nicer appearance as I actually am beginning to have somewhat of a frontal arch of teeth instead of where as before I had two front teeth and rest of the teeth was just pulled back. So my frontal arch was literally just two front teeth it seemed like.

As we expand the upper palate, my lower jaw is able to come forward some, so I appear to have more of a jawline/chin now. Instead of the receding look before. I hope to make progress in this area though.

What is remarkable is that as the palate expands the whole face begins to look better. The doctors notice the positive changes on a monthly basis as well.

As I mentioned before, I do work with a doctor that is far more knowledgeable compared to the average. But that does not mean I put all my faith on him and just let him do however he pleases.

This time around I’m taking full responsibility and I am leading the treatment instead of the doctor dictating where the treatment goes.

If it wasn’t for my incessant pushing to allow me to continue expanding, we would of stopped expansion months ago and proceeded to then begin moving my teeth with coil springs and just open the spaces for bicuspids.

But I did not allow this because I believed I had more potential for more expansion. We were first expanding 1/8th turn every other day or so, that is pretty fast expansion.

And at a certain point the doctor told me I don’t think we can expand any further, so let’s move on to next stage.

I had stopped him dead on the track there right then and there at our monthly appointment and urged him to go for more expansion. He had to remake both the upper and lower appliance because I out grew them and now I got new appliance to fit my newly expanded mouth to expand even further.

I am now expanding only 1/8 turn every week. but I do not care that we are going slow, as long as we are still seeing positive changes I plan to continue to expand in this manner.

The reason we have to go slow now is because the lower arch, the mandible does not have a suture down the middle like the upper palate. So the it can only expand as the bone remodels around the teeth and changes shape. This take considerably longer time because if you expand too quickly without the bone catching up to support the teeth that is getting pushed out. then you will only be tipping the teeth which is not what you want.

Anyway we will see what sort of results will happen over time as I expand at this slow pace.

Will I be able to produce considerable widening of the mandible? that is the new quest for now. As I tend to have a more narrow appearance lower jaw, this would be a very nice change.

Anyway I am beginning to receive a lot of emails regarding orthodontic stuff.

What I want you to take from this article is that take your orthodontic treatment in your own hands. Just because the doctor is famous or well recognized, don’t take their word for it 100%, always question things if you do not like what you hear. Be armed with knowledge and know where you want your treatment to go. in most cases, the patient with the problem knows more about it than them. This goes to even orthotropics orthodontist like Dr. Hang or Dr. Mew or Dr. Gibbs. As I have illustrated int this article, even I had to push Dr. Gibbs A LOT to get him to go along with my plans of continuing expansion.

Dowsing via Pendulum Experience and its application to self-NCR?

If you have been following my blog you would know that I have been learning and experimenting with self treatment NCR (neurocranial-restructuring), where I insert finger cot (tiny balloons) affixed to a pressure bulb, insert it into my sinus cavities and expand, allowing it to ever so slightly cause expansion inside my skull. releasing connective tissue tension. and causing changes to the shape of the skull towards more ideal structures.

(I am not teaching this technique, atleast for now, because of my lack of understanding, skill, knowledge. for more information I would go here: http://www.breakthematrix.org/)

Anyways I’ve been checking the forums of the above site from time to time, and also been talking to the site owner who taught me how to do this, and the topic of using muscle testing to determine which passageways to treat/expand the balloon into for the day came up.

I thought this was interesting because I was aware of Koren Specific Technique (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Om_JtkETeiA) in which the body tells the doctor where to treat.

Well this was sort of similar…

For those of you unfamiliar with what muscle testing is, its the idea that the body knows stuff that the human intellect doesn’t, or the higher self knows pretty much everything (if you buy into the idea that in the higher dimensions there exists no time, so the higher self has access to all things that has ever happened, is happening, or will happen, in infinite web of possibilities, etc)

Or the idea that the body can not tell a lie, so the body becomes the ultimate lie detector. If you tell a false statement, the muscles become weak and that is the basis of muscle testing.

Now some people reap incredible benefits with muscle testing and dowsing. If you are unfamiliar I suggest you go to Youtube and check out some videos or this interview of Drunvalo Melchizedek http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ar6IfDbFDXY in the interview somewhere he describes his encounter with dowsing. in which a game was played where one person will hide a piece of corn somewhere in the house and while the other guy had his eyes closed but that guy could find the piece of corn without fail every time using dowsing rods.

And this other guy could find stolen cars just buy using pendulum and rods to ask the higher self where the stolen car was on the Map and the rods and pendulums would point to where the stolen car was.

How is this possible? I am inclined to believe that there is part of our awareness that knows everything that is going on around you at all times we just filter that part of our awareness out to have our human experience. However when we walk into a super market, we “think” we only see what is in front of us. but there is part of our awareness, I believe,, that sees and is aware of every corner of that supermarket even before turning the corner.

if that part of us can find a stolen car, even though we’ve never even seen the car ourselves, let alone where it was stolen to. then surely that part of us can tell us if it is okay to treat ourselves with self-NCR for the day and in which passageway to treat for the day…

Anyways for the past few months, I have been using a pendulum to dowse which passageway to treat for the day and I have been getting yes or no answers to determine which passageways to treat and have been following them. I believe I am continuing to see positive results from the treatment, possibly even better results from previous technique. Which was to expand the entire one side (Top,Middle,Bottom) one day then do the whole other side the next day. Left and Right alternating between days. That means at least 3 expansion minimum for the day.

With dowsing, I am finding that I am only required to expand once or twice a day. and sometimes they are not all on one side. Sometimes its like Top left and Top Right.

My dowsing equipment is a simple nut from hardware store tied to a piece of string, that goes through the middle of the nut.

I ask the following questions for self-NCR.

questions like “Is it optimal to treat myself today with self-NCR?”

if response is yes, “is it optimal to go to the right side?” “left side?”

“Top right?” “Middle Right?” “Bottom Right passageway?”

etc, sometimes the pendulum would tell me to treat two passageways for the day. for example Top right and Top Left.
Somedays just one.

How do you know if the responses are coming from the higher self and not influenced by your mind?

I don’t know…for sure. I’ve just been learning to trust the answers I get.

But a few days ago, something pretty remarkable happened with my pendulum testing.

See I don’t really use the pendulum much, other than testing for self-NCR purposes.

but the other day, I was at my apartment and the black trashbags that I had taped all over my bedroom widow had come off. Because my blinds are really bad and during the night, street light just pours into my bedroom, making it hard to sleep with the orange glow that’s in the room. I like to sleep in the dark. I have read that it is important to sleep in a pitch black room, the pineal gland can only truly rest in a pitch black room.

So I had more black trashbags but I had lost my duck tape. I looked for it all over the apartment and couldn’t find it. I had looked for this duck tape before and was unable to find it last time I searched. But I knew I bought it and had it somewhere.

I decided to use dowsing to find this tape.

Note for me: When the nut starts to spin clockwise it’s a Yes. When it begins to spin counter clockwise it’s a No.

So here is how the questioning process went:

“Do I have tape in this apartment?” (Answer: yes)

“Is it in my bedroom?” (Yes)

“Is it in my closet of my bedroom?” (No)

“Is it on the carpet floor in my bedroom?” (Yes)

ok so at this point, I just went into my room and searched the floor for the tape. I had some clothes laying around so I picked them up to see if it was under some clothes…no and then I check under the bed and to my surprise I find a small scotch tape, On the carpet floor of my bedroom!!

The pendulum has helped me find a scotch tape for me…but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for.

When asking for questions in Dowsing, it is important to be specific!!! I asked to find tape and it just found a tape but not the duck tape I was looking for.

SO I went back to my desk and begin dowsing again.

“Not this scotch tape I am holding, but the duck tape I had, the duck tape I am thinking of right now, is that duck tape still in this apartment?” (Answer: Yes)

“Is it in my bedroom?” (No)

“Is it in my bathroom?” (No)

“Is it in my living room?” (No)

“Is it in my kitchen?” (YES)

“When looking out from this direction, Is it somewhere at the right side of the kitchen?” (No)

“Is it the left side?” (Yes)

At this point I could of easily just went my kitchen to the left side and started looking. But I wanted to test this out further.

“Is the duck tape in one of the cabinets or drawers?” (yes)

“Is it in one of the drawers at waist level or below waist level?” (No)

“Is it in one of the cabinets above the waist level?” (yes)

and then I just asked “From the wall, is it the first cabinet?” (No)

“The second?” (no)

“The third?” (no)

“Is my duck tape in the last cabinet, the fourth cabinet from the wall?” (YES)

at this point, with great anticipation, I leaped out of my chair, and went to that cabinet, opened it. and to my amazement. There it was. The duck tape.

What a great experiment this was! It was lots of fun. and It has helped to build my trust and confidence in dowsing as a real thing.

dowsing people talk of not giving up with dowsing and keep trying it. as you try it more and more and build experience your confidence with dowsing will go up. This is key!!

I tried some testing months ago and it didn’t give great results, but I kept trying it here and there. but now this result was pretty phenomenal.

What I have learned through this experience is that it is important to just keep using it and trying it. Even if you get disappointing results at first which the dowsing wasn’t able to get you the correct answers.

Now I hardly ever dowse, I’m not one of those people that carry it everywhere they go, but  I was still experiencing this great result! so I am not saying you have to dowse a lot and practice everyday to get good at it. I hardly ever do, only for self-NCR… I’m just saying to keep using it from time to time, and one day its results may surprise and shock you quite a bit.

also the idea that we can open a line of communication to our higher self is pretty fucking cool as well!!

Update and to answer question about self-treat NCR

First of all, I’ve been getting some emails about people asking me to teach them self-NCR. I am not qualified at the moment to teach anyone this. I do not want to be held reliable if what I teach was to cause damage. I am still learning about this myself, although I believe some positive changes has been made, it isn’t crazy dramatic change that the NCR people like to claim it is. And the changes I’ve seen isn’t enough to confirm to me what I am doing is 100% reliable, nor do I know if self NCR can replace normal NCR from a NCR doctor.

I have never received NCR series from a real doctor before. Maybe in the future I may feel more comfortable with Self-NCR but I am still experimenting with it.  I really do not feel comfortable teaching anyone, as sometime I question if this treatment works at all.

Ok as for my palate expansion process.

For the upper palate, I started with an appliance with a hinge, (you can see a picture if in my past post), the hinge was there because my front arch was a lot narrower than the back of my arch by the molars. So the hinge was to allow the front arch to “catch up” to the back. I did this for about 3 months or so?

The doctor thought he had gotten enough expansion… by this point I had pretty good amount of gaps between some of the teeth(note I am reversing previous extraction orthodontic work, so we are trying to recreate the gaps for my 4 bicuspids that was extracted, so GAPS in this case is good). Anyway I wanted to go further with my expansion.

There was only so much expansion you can do with the top arch, as it was limited by the size of the bottom arch. So I had my doctor make me an appliance for the bottom arch, even though I had been using light-wire braces (similar to DAMON) to expand the bottom, we made an appliance for the bottom anyway to get more considerable expansion there. and we modified the upper appliance, now we removed the hinge and moved the screw in the middle of the appliance so we were now expanding the whole arch form.

Around 2 months ago I got this new thing called the Acceledent (http://acceledent.com/orthodontists), what it does is it uses electricity to send pulses of certain frequency that helps to stimulate bone growth. you wear it 15 min a day.

I had my doctor order the acceledent for me and this was new to both of us. The first month we used it, he noticed I made 2 months worth of progress.

I eventually out grew my first appliance for the bottom palate. At this point, the doc said he usually stops expanding the bottom palate, however since we now had this acceledent, he was more opted to try to expand the bottom more. Now I got a new bottom appliance yesterday to continue to expand the bottom palate. I also out grew the top appliance. the doctor is making me a new one so that we can expand the upper little bit more as well.

Also it is worthy to mention, that the upper arch had been expanded quite rapidly. I wear the appliance 24/7 (unlike some other appliances out there) and I expanded everyday 1/8 turn. So I have been expanding a lot faster than most methods. The idea here is that the upper palate has the suture and that suture can be expanded quite rapidly, although if I was to take the appliance off for even couple hours, that suture will begin to close back up again so this is why I wear the appliance 24/7. eventually new bone growth will be formed, and I can take the appliance off when I am 100% done with treatment. However for the bottom palate I have to expand very slowly because there is no suture for the mandible and if I expand too quickly all I will be doing is tipping the teeth out.

At the same time we have been moving the front teeth outwards, (they had been pushed back from prior orthodontics) This is counter intuitive from traditional orthodontic mentality. Tipping the front teeth out would cause an overbite or buckteeth?? Well I now realize, the front teeth needs to be angled outwards, as my front teeth is advancing forward, I am regaining more and more lip support and when I talk, I am looking better and better. Now my lip isn’t all scrounged up and my teeth is exposed just right when I speak. At the moment I have an overbite, as my front teeth extends past my bottom palate, however what we will do after I am done with expansion is put in an appliance with a hinge (the same one used by Dr. Mew in his orthotropics treatment) the hinge will force me to move my lower jaw forward and keep my mouth closed. What this will do over time, is create new bone growth in my jaw join, (where my lower jaw attached to the skull, near the ears) The socket has cartilage, but as I keep my jaw forward and create some space there, there will be new bone growth . and my jaw will come forward and down to meet the supposed “buck teeth”. And once my lower jaw comes forward to meet the front teeth, what looked like “buck teeth” won’t be there anymore because now my bottom teeth is meeting it.

Here is the paradigm shift when it comes to traditional orthodontics and this new way of orthotropics as pioneered by Dr. Mew. When I child has buckteeth, it is not because the front teeth sticks out too far. It is the lower jaw is too far back, causing the front teeth to appear to be “buck teeth”. Most cases the Front teeth / maxilla is too far back and down. and the front “buck” teeth needs to be push forward and up even more. And then the lower jaw needs to be brought forward to meet the front teeth.

This will begin to get rid of the receding chin look. Using train tracks to push everything back even more is just plain shitty.

Anyway right now, I am focused on expansion of the bottom palate as much as possible so I can expand the top palate as much as possible.

My arch is getting wide. It is now as wide as the common average. but I am trying to go beyond that average.

What I am definitely noticing after I started expanding the whole arch is that, my face is getting more symmetrical and balanced on both side. My chronic sinus problems in left nostril has considerably gotten better. All moving towards great direction as I expand my palate.

few month ago I also started with the crane treatment which is a reverse pull head gear. how do I feel about this as compared to 30 min a day hockey helmet treatment? I believe I am seeing better results with the crane although it is still too early to tell. I am only wearing it while I sleep currently which is only 8 hours a day. They tell you to wear 14 hours but I find that kind of hard with work and everything.

These changes are very gradual though and one most endure with great patience. It is a big lesson in taking care of oneself.

Ho’oponopono – Second Time Around

Recently I was reading a blog I like to follow and found a very inspirational post.

http://herotransformation.wordpress.com/2012/09/27/15-minute-miracle/

I already knew about this healing technique, I tried it a few years back but I dropped the practice only after few days. This day I decided to watch the video anyway. Basically hindsight tells me I was not ready for this whole thing back then.  I know now that it was because of my ego. Back then I was into all this “create your own reality” stuff and my ego liked the idea of a Hawaiian Dr. that was able to heal an entire mental hospital without even seeing the patients or working with them because my ego liked the idea of being powerful and to be able to create change like that but my ego didn’t like this technique as soon as it heard this Dr. mention in an interview(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL972JihAmg) that we have no free will and it is Data that is running us. Now this Dr. is pretty hardcore and does not sugar coat anything, when the interviewer asks about “compassion” and “being aligned” and “what does the void feel like is it what Buddha explained as….” Dr. Hew Len just laughs and says “I don’t know what you’re talking about” or “You’re funny.”

Back then I didn’t like his reactions, I really wanted him to tell me something. something concrete that my ego can hold on to. Instead the Dr. kept saying “You go to zero” “There’s nothing at zero. NOTHING” “All this stuff about compassion and love is all bullshit, its foo-foo stuff”

Now when I watch the video I get what he is saying. The Mind or the ego mind is ADDICTED to stories and concepts. You can generally tell by closely watching one’s reactions. If one begins to get little offended then you can be sure it is the ego creeping in the back door. And that was exactly what was happening back then when I saw the interview. I even projected this onto him and I remember viewing him as kind of unlikable person but it was all my issues lol.

He also said the conscious mind is only aware of 15 bits of information but the subconscious is dealing with 15 million bits of information, so how could we possible know what is going on. We are all clueless.

Ouch my ego really didn’t like that one.

However, life caused me to find the Presence Process and now looking at Dr. Hew Len’s teachings I can see that both Michael Brown and Dr. Hew Len is talking about the same thing. Becoming 100% responsible. Peace begins with me. Developing the most important relationship in one’s life which is the one we have with our inner child (the subconscious, the emotional body). The intellect does not know. Ultimately, developing a more intimate relationship with the divine.

Dr. Hew Len however teaches us to clean 24/7 moment to moment. As far as he is concerned, his only purpose to being on this earth is to clean. He sees life as a gift from the divine to give him one more chance to make amends.

Continually he repeats in his mind. “I’m sorry.” “Please forgive me.” “Thank you.” “I love you.”

All of this sounds kind of hoke to you perhaps. but if for a second you entertain this idea that our soul is billions of years old and if indeed it was created at the very beginning of creation then we had many many past lives. We have all committed crimes and from law of cause and effect we must pay for those crimes. So the law of cause and effect states that we reap what we sow. We cause hurt to others than we must also experience hurt to ourselves so we can learn what it is we are doing.

This Karma I think is what Dr. Hew Len is calling it the mortgage on our soul. So we come back into physical existence over and over again and repeat the same sufferings over and over again…pretty much bound by our Karma, but why? because we are not learning from our lessons, we are not taking responsibility for them. But what Dr. Hew Len is saying is we can undo all of that and erase all of the Karma or Data by willing to take 100% responsibility. The beauty is that the divine is always listening and so unconditional with its love that as soon as we utter the Ho’oponopono phrase I am sorry Please forgive me Thank you I love you. we are saying that we are 100% responsible for whatever is happening, we do not know what is inside of me that is causing this, and I am sorry. And then I love you. Expressing love to the divine but also to the data, the darkness itself. The miracle is that the divine then cancels out the data and erases it to zero. Is that not the most profound thing?

Dr. Hew Len is giving me a deeper understanding of what is meant when different teacher’s say “Love your shadowself.” “In order to get past a problem, show love to it.” “Fighting and resisting it will not work.”

If you want to put this topic in more perspective please watch this video by Sri Bhagavan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03SWqkFpEnc

He explains the imprinting process that Michael Brown talks about. When are we programmed. And this program is divinely orchestrated, everything that unfolds when the baby is getting programmed is happening divinely on purpose nothing on accident. From the music that is playing on the radio to the different dramas unfolding between mother and father all of this is on purpose as on purpose as a tattoo artist carving a intricate design on ones arm. We are imprinted. This is the program. This is the data that then controls our whole life. So again he tells us we really have no free will. If we want to change our life then we must change this program. It is simply amazing how Dr. Hew Len, Michael Brown (Presence Process Author), and Sri Bhagavan ALL SAY THE EXCACT SAME THINGS. WOW MAYBE I SHOULD REALLY PAY ATTENTION NOW LOL.

The problem is the memory that is in the computer bank of the subconscious. So can this look in piratical terms. I will use one of Michael Brown’s example.

A child is conceptualized. While being in the mother’s womb. Mom and Dad have a big fight and Dad storms out of the room starts his engine and just drives off in anger. Mom feels abandoned. This affects her physiology in a precise way in the way her heart beats to her breathing pattern to everything else which is all being recording into the child’s memory as vibrations of Abandonment.

Then this program tends to repeat itself throughout the child’s life. When the child is a toddler the mother is busy and has to leave the todler for a while. the toddler feels abandoned.

When he is in grade school he has a best friend in the neighborhood and the best friend has to move to a different state. Again the child feels the same abandonment feeling.

And when the child grows up into an adult, he attempts to marry a woman quick because he has abandonment issues and at the day of the wedding his bride does not show up. Again he feels the same abandonment feeling. However now since he is an adult he will begin to mentally justify what is going on and point the blame to what is going on out there. He will blame the girl for causing him to feel this way. And he will drink whiskey this time to blunt out this awful feeling of abandonment.

What this man does not realize is, what he is experiencing at the altar is a memory resurfacing. Nothing new is happening. And he is 100% responsible for what is happening because the program is in him.

And he will continue to suffer until he suffers enough times to the point he exclaims “Why does this keep happening to me!” and his only choice from there is to be free of the program or not to be free. Which according to Dr. Hew Len is the only real choice we have.

This man’s story is the microcosm of the macro, it is the story of humanity. Then can this man blame his mother and father for imprinting him this way? Well the parents were imprinted as well from their parents. And on and on and on down the lineage of ancestors, each generation passing on the baton of imprinting to the next generation. It’s called the Human RACE. lol

But if the imprinting was divinely orchestrated and on purpose then this man was indeed suppose to receive this abandonment imprinting because divinity is giving him another chance to make amends with it. So really the parents were doing their part and they are not to blame because perhaps in past lives this man caused abandonment for others and now he must learn from it. So again if you hold onto the concept of past lives and our soul being millions or years old, you never know what sort of forces are out there directing our lives. So the parents are not to blame, even before conception the data was in the soul itself.  Parents and child both their souls simply share the same data but the data was already in the child’s soul. The parents just did their divine part in imprinting the child’s emotional, mental bodies but it isn’t that they do it unto the child. The child is co-creating the experience as well. So from this perspective, we are all responsible for the imprinting we received from our parents.

I can tell you I struggle with this a lot because I catch myself blaming my parents from time to time. But I know this is only a misconception.

Sri Bhagavan teaches inner integrity to solve and undo the programs. Which is simply looking inside and see what is going on. (Dr. Hew Len would say “What is going on in me that I am experiencing this.”) I have been doing this practice for a year now ever since presence process and I think that is the reason why I was able to take inspired action to start on my physical restructuring work and I was able to find the best orthodontist in Michigan. I am constantly looking inside it is almost automatic tendency now.

But MAN I am really feeling the power of the Ho’oponopono prayer. There is something magical in these words themselves. Honestly I’m still just at the front door of this incredible technique but I’m already being surrounded by the beauty of it, delving me in, inviting me in further into its majesty.

I’m sorry.  Please Forgive Me. Thank you. I love you.

Here is a really powerful Ho’oponopono video which gave me major goosebumps when first listening especially because some Japanese is intertwined with it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ac5SGwRPv0o)

Just only few days of adopting this practice and I’m already experiencing big releases and tensions dissolving in my body at a much faster rate than ever before. Dr. Hew Len says the beauty of the divine is when you let go of one Data then a lot of times a whole slew of other data are let go together that you weren’t even aware of. and if we really knew how much data was actually getting cleaned (remember conscious mind is only aware of 15 bits and unconscious is dealing with 15 million) every time we uttered the Ho’oponopono phrase than we would never cease cleaning.

So reminding us we never really know how much change we are accomplishing and how much impact it is having on our world. Dr. Hew Len’s advice is to clean incessantly. Non stop.

Back then I really hated Dr. Hew Len for saying one has to clean moment to moment but now I really appreciate him for embodying that so we can all see what is possible. Really I think the only agent for real change is this. Inner work. More specifically erasing the Data or Programming in our subconscious.

I just love the simplicity of Ho’oponopono but not underestimating the power of it. Also understanding that it may be simple but it is often not always so easy to actually walk it day to day.

It is important to ask for what you want. Working with an Orthotropics orthodontist, Dr. Gibbs of Michigan.

Yesterday marked 2 months into treatment with my orthodontic work.

I had been expanding the upper arch with a removable appliance (a type of biobloc)

here is the picture of the appliance.

Notice the hinge at the bottom of the appliance, the reason for this is my second molar(the last molar) was further apart than the rest of my dental arch. So we used this hinge to keep the second molar in place while we created expansion in the rest of the dental arch (first molar and the second bicuspids) so that they “catch up” and align with the last molar.

Remember that I am going through reversal of previous extraction orthodontic work so I am missing my first bicuspids.

There is many reason to believe that I am working with a great orthodontist. His name is Dr. Gibbs, he is semi-retired orthodontist that has already retired from his private practice and now just works couple days out of the week at this office below.

John Stepanovich, DDS
General Dentist
260 Jefferson Ave
Grand Rapids, MI 49503
Tel. (616) 459-1267

Dr. Gibbs first took the orthotropics class from Dr. John Mew in 1987ish… before then he has taken many courses on functional orthodontic appliances and technique but he has not found any to produce any different result from regular way of orthodontic work. But his colleague, Dr. Stepanovich, had found out about Dr. John Mew’s work and was convincing him about it… initially Dr. Gibbs was not really motivated because he had already tried so many other functional orthodontic stuff that wasn’t impressive to him, however what immediately grabbed Dr. Gibbs attention was that Dr. John Mew was stating that the class II malocclusions (the buck teeth overbite, receeding chin, weak chin appearance) was a result of the Maxilla that was too far back in the face.

Dr. Gibbs thought “Uh oh maybe this guy knows something…” because every class II case he has seen, he has found the maxilla to be too far back in the face on the x-rays.

This is significant because classical orthodontist will look at the buck teeth and decide “the problem is that the teeth sticks out too far so we need to put the kid in braces and pull those teeth back.” Anyway this is going in the totally opposite direction and not addressing the real cause of class II malocclusions.

Dr. Gibbs flew out to Florida and spent two weeks learning the beginner as well as advance class from Dr. John Mew. He explained the process as “mind numbing” because he was being taught about orthodontics that was complete 180 degrees from traditional orthodontics he had been taught in school.

However he was motivated because he really liked how the faces looked on the children that had been treated by Dr. John Mew’s techniques.

Then Dr. Gibbs went back to his private practice in Michigan and first he treated a young lady, that was already past the ideal age for orthotropics according to Dr. Mew which is around age 7, I think this girl was like 14-16ish… however he said, “Her result was phenomenal”.

Then one case after the other, he kept seeing success so he has been practicing orthotropics ever since along with his colleague Dr. Stepanovich, both practicing orthotropics in Grand Rapids, Michigan since the early 90′s I believe.

Dr. Gibbs even hosted several seminars in Michigan and had Dr. Mew teach there, when Dr. Mew would fly in, he had Dr. Mew stay at his house. Eventually, Dr. Mew had Dr. Gibbs teach courses in Michigan about orthotropics!

Dr. Hang (California orthodontist who is famous for his orthotropics work and doing reversal of extraction cases, and has great marketing/online presence on the internet) considers Dr. Mew to be the “brightest orthodontist of our time.” Dr. Mew is Dr. Hang’s mentor…

For a long while, after I had went to 10 different orthodontist in Michigan, looking for someone that can do my case of reverse extractions and being shut down by all of them, I began to think I might have to move to California so I can be treated by Dr. Hang.

However through great fortune here I am working with Dr. Gibbs at Dr. Stepanovich’s office both have learned from Dr. Mew even before Dr. Hang did and on top of that having real close personal relations with Dr. Mew the “greatest orthodontist of our time” and his son Dr. Mike Mew. I think I came to the right office at least in Michigan…

This office has two orthodontists working at once (Stepanovich and Gibbs) on every Friday or when Dr. Gibbs comes into the office which is when I have my appointments. Two bright orthodontists who have learned orthotropics in one office. Which is sort of great because Dr. Gibbs is able to give me ample time to speak with him every appointment (I spend average of hour and a half to two hours there!) while Dr. Stepanovich is taking care of other patients. Because they know my case is complicated It seems that I am given special attention by the more experienced of the two, Dr. Gibbs, in fact even though this is Dr. Stepanovich’s office, I haven’t even met him yet. Dr. Stepanovich actually asked the retired Dr. Gibbs to come work at his office part time to “help out” after he was retired. At first, He started coming in to the office every other Friday  then it was every Friday  then it was every Monday and Friday  now it’s like every Monday Wednesday and Friday .. he laughingly told us how he was brought out of retirement by Dr. Stepanovich and his haunch is that Dr. Stepaanovich didn’t want him to retire. He said now he is working just as much as he used to when he had his private practice, but he is enjoying it because he gets to do orthodontic cases without having to worry about paying bills and what not.

Anyway I am amazed I was able to find such an orthodontist in Michigan after contemplating moving to California for a little while, Needless to say, from speaking to him over the past 2-3 months, I can tell you he is light years ahead of normal orthodontists. And good thing about him is he is pretty open minded to my requests about face pulling and other things.

However his problem is that he has no online presence partly because he is already semi-retired and already pretty old and perhaps not too tech savy. So it is nearly impossible to find this guy…, unless you call the office or find the office through looking for orthotropics orthos which would be your best bet to find these types of orthodontists but again doing orthotropics and reversing extraction cases is a totally different animal. They say reverse extraction cases are one of the most complicated cases even more so than a person with really jumbled up teeth. If you’re searching on the internet it really begins to look like Dr. Hang is the only doctor that is capable of reverse extraction cases, since only Dr. Hang is openly marketing this on the internet…which is why he has many patients fly to see him from all over. Dr. Gibbs has said he has one patient flying in from the east coast, but I told him he would have a lot more flying in, if he had any type of online presence lol…but he had been retired so it is understandable.

I think what Dr. Hang is doing is great though, speaking out about it on the internet about the possibility of reversal of extractions so at least people know it can be done and openly addressing the wrong practice of extraction orthodontics. Because more orthos of the world need to know about this.

Going back to my case, yesterday at the appointment, Dr. Gibbs had decided I had enough expansion with the hinge and he was going to go ahead with putting on the fixed braces with coil to begin pushing my canines forward to re-open the gaps for the bicuspids, (same thing for the bottom jaw).

This was only 2 months of expansion and he was telling me I was done with expansion, which I was not satisfied about. I had been turning 1/8th turn everyday which is a fast pace and wearing the appliance 24/7. (you can only turn this fast if you wear the appliance 24/7, appliance like DNA appliance or the homeobloc in which you take the appliance off everyday, will not be able to go this fast because every time you take off the appliance your sutures close back up.) If I were to take my appliance off now for even 2 hours I would lose 7 days worth of progress, in just 2 hours!. Since the connective tissues would close the sutures back up that had been gradually pulled apart since there hasn’t been enough bone growth taking place between the sutures yet to hold it in place.  DNA appliance and homebloc attempts to create very incremental bone growth for the benefit that you don’t have to wear it during the day, but why bother? I’m just gonna wear it 24/7 (even while eating! only time it comes off is for brushing teeth) and expand quicker and once enough expansion takes place then a fixed thing goes on the roof of my mouth to hold the new expanded arch form in place and the bone grows there after a while…in my opinion, producing the same result but going at a faster rate, although I suppose there could be risks of going too fast like teeth tipping, but if that is carefully avoided I believe wearing the appliance 24/7 and doing it this way is faster.

Anyway just in 2 months he was saying I’m done expanding, in which I told him, “no I want to expand more.” “I still have slight congestion in my left nostril” and “I feel like I can see even more results with bones building up on the face if I expand more.”

In my eyes, the more I expand the arch form the better off I will be. Dr. Mike Mew’s (Dr. John Mew’s son) said in a presentation that the human skull has been shrinking in size in our recent history. and he claims if we had even half of what we are suppose to have in our dental arch size then we would never have issues of chronic congested sinuses ever. If you look at the human skull model you can easily see how the size of maxilla directly determines the size of the sinus cavity.

After telling him my desires to expand more, he was open to it… but his issue was he was limited to how much he can expand the upper by the lower jaw. Since we had only been tipping the teeth upright on the lower jaw and not creating expansion in the lower jaw (mandible) itself. He says that since the mandible does not have a suture like the upper, it is not easy to create expansion.

To which I replied, “well some people have lower jaws that are too narrow right? in which case they do surgery?”

Gibbs told me yes there is the surgery option in which the surgeon cuts a line at the front of mandible and inserts a screw device there. The screw actually comes out of the gums and the patient is able to turn the screw of where the bone has been cut everyday and gradually create bone growth and expansion.

However instead of surgery I had different things in mind, I am coming from the model that bone at any age can be remolded and reshaped with incremental pressure on them. Just recently I had been talking to Robert Von, who is an nutrition expert, and I was telling him about my physical restructuring process of bone remodeling, and he had told me what I can do to greatly increase the speed of this process was eat bunch of cooked vegetables with butter. The cooked vegetable with butter allows the body to build with those vegetables and it turns your bones into “clay and easily malleable”. Where as raw vegetables will detox you and not build. He recommends cooked yellow squash, onion, asparagus, broccoli, carrots, green beans.

So with this in mind, I asked Dr. Gibbs do you have any appliance for the lower jaw that can exert pressure on the bone and create expansion? and I told him about changing my diet to cooked vegetables and making my bones into clay.

Thankfully he is open minded enough to give it a try. He does have an appliance for the lower jaw and he has agreed to go along with my plans. He will make the appliance for me and he will reconstruct the upper appliance, removing the hinge and placing the expansion screw in the middle so that now we are expanding the entire arch form (including the back molars and not in the hinge like manner), so as I expand the entire upper arch I shall see even more significant changes in the cranial bones. (cheek bones, bones around the eyes, nasal cavity, etc),

Also if what Robert Von has told me is really true then I can begin to expand the lower jaw as well although I have no idea how much I can expand and how it will change the appearance of the lower jaw. But I am excited to see what will happen.

Currently I have changed my diet to predominately cooked vegetables and some beef liver.

Everything is taking place in great timing because a week ago I moved out to a single bedroom apartment so I can really concentrate on this process and strict up my diet. Which is difficult to do as I had been living at my parents house for a few months after college graduation and it is hard to refuse my mom’s delicious home cooking as well as I would not feel right cooking myself meals separately. I think sometimes it is more important to value the connection that food fosters with people then to strictly deny that connection just because you are “vegan” or “raw foodist” or whatever.

And I love meat but for this process I will focus on eating mostly cooked vegetables and see what happens.

Working with even the real experienced and bright orthodontist like Dr. Gibbs, I realize it is important to ask for what you want. And not just blindly follow the doctors plans, the doctor should be assisting your plans. I blindly followed my previous orthodontist’s plan for which I am paying the price now. So please do your research and think carefully about orthodontics. It has more profound consequences than you would think.

Dr. Gibbs has determined that there has been enough expansion to get my bicuspids back, but in my eyes I want maximum changes to take place in the entire skull itself, not just getting bicuspids back. But shooting for maximum expansion because that will then really begin to unlock everything, from improved brain function from increase space for the brain, improved hormonal secretion from more space, bigger sinus cavity for enhanced breathing, more and more improved cranial symmetry, higher cheek bones, even broader smile, broader arch means even better voice projections, also unlocking one’s sexuality as the mouth directly corresponds to the pelvis and sexual organs… so I have been told. There’s just many changes that can take place for the better.

Phew this was sort of a long blog post. There is more to be said about this new diet I am taking on but this is enough for today!

Mada’s new videos, Inspirations.

Eliza Mada Dalian, I’ve known about her for quite some time, today I found new videos from her that I resonate with so I thought I’d share them on here as well.

I feel that one of life’s main journey and the path is to become a person that is self-sustained emotionally. A person that no longer seeks to take from others but a person that is able to freely give with no attachment. These are merely states that I’ve experienced before and fleeting ones at that but is it possible to become a person like that all the time? a person with zero approval seeking behavior, 24/7?

And is it possible to break free from the layers upon layers of the conditioning and programming both personal ones and collective ones, and to become truly free?

well a person like Mada Eliza Dalian shows us the possibility and so it is encouraging to know that we are not hopelessly bound to our conditioning and it is possible to shape your destiny…

this is one of the videos go to her youtube page to view a few others that’s been uploaded recently.
