I am becoming quite obsessed with body & neck posture as I witness the face taking on new shapes and body also going through its changes. I am standing taller and I’m learning about the profound effects body posture is having on social interactions.
Since the last post, I’ve really put the muscle contracture theory to test by making the repetitive conscious corrections to lift my head straight up from the occipital bone (back of the head), as this video demonstrates.
In the first week, I notice the back neck muscles becoming sore and sometimes even dull aches & pains as it was getting stretched with this new posture. I also pulled a muscle in my leg one day just walking and also in my neck, just doing a pushup when I pulled my head back to face forwards, I believe these are clear indicator that something is changing with my muscles.
The neck pull was quite painful for 2-3 days but I recovered now, and amazingly it seems that my body is accepting the new posture more as it becomes more comfortable in that new posture versus the old .
As I hold this posture, I also notice the front neck muscles being activated and that muscle strangely feels connected with the tongue. Various experts in this field confirms that its the front neck muscles that’s suppose to support the head up right, but most of us are tensing our back neck muscles to hold the head up in a forward head posture.
http://fixtheneck.com/clues.html
Above link (recommended by Mike Mew) is an amazing resource of neck posture & its consequences on the rest of the body. The creator of the site is a lady that struggled with amazing amounts of debilitating back pains for decades, going from doctor to doctor, taking paid meds just to survive.
She had severe degenerated discs, bone spurs, lordosis (curing of the back) & more. Nothing worked until she started fixing her head posture which effectively resolved all of her issues. Her front neck muscles from disuse had atrophied to the point that she couldn’t even lift her head off the pillow when laying flat on her back.
Yes you can clearly feel the difference in the tension of front & back neck muscles when you hold the correct head posture versus titling the head back.
You can feel that the front neck muscles is holding the head up but I would take it one step further and say that when the head is held up correctly the tongue also jams up into the front and back palate more aggressively (automatically) to help hold the head up as suggested by Mike Mew. It seems that the front neck muscle and the tongue as a whole is body’s postural system that works in unison to keep the head up.
When the head is tilted back and the lower jaw is brought forwards, artificially more tongue space is created but at a big cost, you will notice the posterior tongue leaves the soft palate as it was never designed for the tongue to be able to adopt correct oral posture with the head forward or tilted.
As I type this I have my computer raised to eye level as I displayed here, head raised up, chin tucked, feeling the nice stretch on the back neck muscle (which feels quite nice), the front neck muscle tense along with my tongue jamming straight up into my palate helping to support the head from tipping over. I can also confirm that when I swallow the front neck is tensing & activating in unison with the posterior tongue hitting the back of the throat.
I can also see that when my head is held up in this manner now my forehead is no longer the sloping forehead and my eyes immediately open bigger & takes on more “sharper” shape compared to the more “sleepy” shape when the head is tilted back.
This is displayed nicely in the above photo by John Mew, there’s instant changes that take place when the head is held differently but I believe overtime it will even affect the shapes of the bones, as the facial muscles sit differently on the face.
I also feel completely different forces on the face when the head is held up by the occipital. Almost like there’s more compression on the midface which is what we want.
As the occipital is lifted, there is a clockwise momentum that is causing the head to want to look down but that momentum is counter acted by the neck & tongue, as you can see in the diagram I drew above, this relationship could be putting that compacting force on the maxilla that we are looking for.
We also have to count in the effect of gravity on bone remodeling, when the head is held up in this manner, there is more forward weight that can be felt, instead of the weight going back towards the back of the head when the head is tilted back. This change in distribution of weight will without a doubt have an effect on the bone as well. Just like how an astronaut experiences bone loss when they are in zero gravity.
Also, is it possible that the front neck muscle which is now activated and getting stronger, will help drive the whole lower jaw & mid face up?
ATM it certainly feels like its putting tons of forces on the lower jaw.
Have you ever seen celebrity face morphing videos that display their faces changing over the years? It really gives you that insight into how bone is more like clay instead of something solid & rigid.
Which really makes me think that the head held up in this manner should shorten overtime as the gravity squishes the head. Imagine making the human head out of clay and setting it on the table, if you come back days later it would have been molded shorter just by sheer gravity acting on it, and then imagine if the head was set in a tilted manner instead, the face would take on a different shape compared to the first example.
What comes to mind that may back this theory is people in certain tribes that wears those neck rings, which would force someone to keep the upright head posture, and so that would mean their face would be short because gravity would be distributed really evenly on the skull.
& upon reviewing many pictures, that notion seems accurate
Now when you factor in the fact that when the head shifts from its correct posture, so does the tongue’s ability to rest properly on the palate, and then possible muscle contracture theory that some muscles in the face may shorten / lengthen, then you really begin to understand that if you got someone with forward head posture, there is no way their face can be short and I have been seeing this to be quite accurate in pictures of various people / real life examples.
Obama: forward neck, his front neck muscles not active. head tilted back slightly. longer facial shape. back neck muscle shortened.
Messi: long facial shape, forward head position and tiled back. sloping forehead. Actually this is the shape & posture that probably most represent what I have going on. back neck muscle shortened and tense to hold the head up by pulling on the back of the head, its very possible overtime this strong neck muscle that’s pulling the head back will distort the skull shape.
Brad Pitt: Excellent head posture, and the mid-face is short. back neck muscle is stretched & long.
Cristiano Ronaldo: Face is short, he keeps his head up straight. great head posture but maybe not perfect?
Gackt: Upright head posture, excellent body posture, back neck muscle stretched and occipital lifted. You can pretty much see the frontal lobe & (back) parietal lobe of cranium leveled perfected above the shoulders. More ideal / perfect head posture
There is a straight line you could draw from the center point on the top of his head, down the spine.
What came first the chicken or the egg? John & Mike Mew of orthotropics have known that vertical facial growth, as a result of open mouth posture, results in forward head posture, but could the opposite also be true? poor head posture resulting in lengthening of face overtime alone? Well I think its pretty clear that yes this is also the case because you can clearly feel the difference of how the back of the tongue sits on the palate as the head shifts positions.
Body Posture is a Big Deal
Many of you might have already seen Amy Cuddy’s power poses TED Talk, Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are, second most watched TED talk ever with near 10 million views.
How poor body posture results in lower testosterone and increased cortisol levels (stress hormone) and good posture or doing “power poses” results in different chemical makeup that allows individuals to perform at higher levels, as studied in clinical scientific research as well as 15,000 emails that Amy has received since her video went viral.
We have all heard body language is important when communicating but this science seems to go a lot deeper than we have ever imagined. Changing your body posture “how you hold your body” not only affects how others perceive you but how you perceive yourself, more precisely you begin to access programs in your subconscious mind.
The following is a profound video
Ann Washburn has effectively changed herself & life, by learning about body language and changing how she holds her body. There is also a great story about one of her sons that kept getting picked on at school, and Ann gave him just 1 advice to stand firmly on both legs, weight distributed evenly which shows others that you are firm in your foundation, that you are not easily toppled over & messed with, and he reported 2 weeks later that it worked, a year later he had more friends than any other school he’s been to in the past. He’s now a very social individual involved in various leadership positions.
I really resonated with this video because I can admit that I do cross my arms and stand with weight on one leg more often than not.
So last night I decided to test this out when I went out to a show with bunch of my friends, incorporating up right head posture, standing with weight on both legs and arms out to the side, and the effects were tremendous. I not only felt different all night walking around the venue, but I was also approached by few girls and guys striking up conversation wanting to be friends. As I conversed with various people, I could tell my social levels have gone up to a new level. On a bio-chemical level, I bet you I had more testosterone in the veins and lowered cortisol, I had no issues approaching strangers and striking up a conversation and how smoothly some of these interactions went even surprised me.
Knowing about the importance of lifting the head by the occipital is a huge key, I can’t quite do it to the extensive degree in public yet because my chin would be really tucked but I can still hold the occipital up with back neck stretched and front neck tense relatively well, and that really caused me to stand tall and walk tall everywhere I went. And with weight firmly planted on both feet when standing, I guarantee it produces a completely different vibe than the usual weight on one leg, and various hands or arms crossed postures.
Which leads me to a new level of understand about social interactions.
we are always communicating even if we aren’t talking. (by the way you hold your body)
This communication is happening on a subconscious level, whether we understand it or not.
Now I understand what its really meant when people say things like
“That man carries himself well” or “she carries herself well”
We are judging the person’s level of confidence by their body language or posture and this is all happening unconsciously by us.
What’s even more profound is that when you really begin to study this science, body language can reveal the person’s blocks in the subconscious mind, and those blocks can be removed by consciously changing the body posture or gesture patterns.
The body & mind is not separate, but intimately connected & reflects one another.
So there is unimaginable consequences to what we are doing with fixing oral & body posture.
Becoming conscious of all of this feels really empowering.
In the above video, Angelo Poli shares 3 exercises which I find helpful in helping to re-establish this upright body posture. Interesting insight into how this technology age is destroying people’s postures. One I find interesting is the butt squeezing exercise, strengthening the butt muscles is important in keep the upright body posture because it establishes correct pelvic position with tail bone going back instead of in.
The Ancestral Posture lady, Esther Gokhale, also talks about the importance of strengthening the butt muscles particularly the top of the butt muscle, the gluteus medius. When I squeeze this muscle, I can feel this relaxing feeling all throughout my back & neck, and even up to my occipital.
Again confirming how our entire musculature system is intimately connected.
BioCranial & Dura Mater
You know a while back, I had a physical therapy person share with me a cranial technique that works to shift all the bones in the face by working with the occipital bone, that effectively stretches the dura mater, which is the tough membrane that’s in between the brain and the skull and in cases the entire nervous system going all the way down to the tailbone.
Here is a video explaining this technique.
Here is a video demonstration.
In this video, the technique creator Robert Boyd shows how the tension of dura mater can distort the face & entire body proportions.
Now I believe this is beginning to explain more about the importance of good head posture and how the face looks, when the head is held up correctly, the base of the skull is lifted as much as possible from the first vertebra the atlas, and this is definitely stretching the dura mater out optimally and its another key piece of the puzzle that explain why people with the most beautiful faces of the world that is nice & symmetrical, also have good head posture.
The volunteer patient in the above video after he gets treated and they have him walk across the stage, from the side shot you can clearly see he has forward head posture.
I believe its his posture that’s ultimately causing all of his issues and yes the biocranial technique seems to have released some of his issues but I believe those effects are temporarily and will not last, unless he begins correcting his head posture.
Very interesting bio cranial testimonial video where a girl’s under bite resolved.
Conclusion
As I lift my head up from the back, towards the sky, everything seems to be opening up in the body and in life. From the eyes becoming more open to even the collapsed right side of the face seems to be expanding outwards now, tongue posture becoming more solid than ever, along with few tweaks such as standing with weight on both feet, shoulder back, head upright the response I am getting from the world is changing dramatically and a sense of increased well being is arising as I observe lowered stress levels and my increased ability to deal with the stressful situations.
Here is what I am sensing now.
The body is how we interface with the world, its like an instrument that we use to play our tune, by changing how we hold the body even if its one small change, there is an cascading effect and everything changes.
In my opinion, our head posture seems to be one of the most vital keys.
I can share two little gems with you.
One you already got, which is Eckhart Tolle. And his teachings can be applied to optimal face and body shape too. It’s all about feeling yourself which will get you out of the dimension of thinking.
There is also the ‘channel higher self’ site from lincoln gergar. He has two vids that are usefull to face shape. ‘Deepest physical relaxation’ and ‘skeletal alignment’.
Then lastly ‘Quadible Integrity’ on youtube. They have frequencies that help for all kind of stuff such as hair (re-)growth. There is one frequency called ‘youthing facial toner’ and ‘stress relief’ that will help reshape the face and get the tension out of the body and face.
That’s it.
Peace
It’s not about ‘forcing’ good posture, because then you are just adding tension upon tension, it’s about letting go of the tension (relaxation) and then what will stay is your most beautiful self.
Yoga, meditation, breathing exercises,..
Feel your neck muscles, feel your face,.. let them relax.. Sit down or stand up and relax..
Once this is done after a few months/years you can start to feel your face and consciously change it to go even beyond the beautiful face you were supposed to have in perfect conditions. Use affirmations while feeling your face. ‘I am becoming more and more goodlooking’ ‘I release all tension’ ‘I have the power to change’.
Love is the strongest catalyst for change. ‘I am love and my face changes’
Sleep on your back,
either on the ground or put a wooden plate on your bed or buy a really hard mattrass.
No pillows !
Hi!
I’m practicing sleeping on the ground on my back without pillows for a while now (about 4 months). I could say I have already adjusted but what’s still bothering me is the sleep apnea caused by obstructed breathing when you try to lengthen your neck (to reduce the cervical curve). I would often wake up in the middle of the night feeling a bit short of air, and have to get on my side to relax.
Do you have a technique to this or is forwarding my maxilla the only way about this?
Thanks!!!
What Eckhart talks about is the opposite of using affirmations on yourself – why would you have to affirm something if you already believed it?
No, he speaks about the ego (the automatic thoughts) this is not at all the same as using an affirmation.
You can change your face with a silent intention too but it is easier with an affirmation so that the conscious mind is focused on what you want.
Ps. I will not answer anymore.

This lady is amazing
I must’ve unknowingly refined my posture while reading this article, because now both of my jaws are throbbing like they never have before and I thought I was doing the posture well before.
about which muscles shorten info from from this link
http://www.portlandtmjclinic.com/tmj-disorders/the-role-of-body-posture
LOWER JAWBONE AND HEAD POSTURE
One consequence of this head balancing mechanism is that lower jawbone posture and head posture became inversely proportional in a forward-backward direction. Generally people with forward jaw posture have backward head posture, and people with backward jaw posture have forward head posture. Backward jaw posture and forward head posture are synergistic conditions. They occur together. Most of our patients have forward head posture and backward jaw posture.
Shifting the lower jawbone backward primarily shifts the head forward by evoking reflex airway protection mechanisms. All the muscles of the area acquire whatever resting postures are necessary to hold the bones in whatever positions they need to maintain an adequate airway.
While the response to forward head posture described above is typical, there are also many other adaptive responses to both backward lower jawbone posture and forward head posture. Frequently lateral strains and asymmetries involve many structural elements. For example, the bracing position of the lower jawbone can shift backward on one side and forward on the other. In a typical asymmetrical facial growth pattern, the chin is shifted to one side, the eye of the opposite side appears higher, and the head is shifted to the opposite side of the chin due to the reciprocal pull of the temporalis muscles.
and here is another link of muscle tension and aging.

how are your results so far? if you’re open I’d like to discuss this further with you personally, if you want msg CP Claimingpower on Facebook thanks
Do you think holding the correct head posture engages pretty much every muscle of the lower face? When I fixed my posture, the hollow cheeks I had disappeared, so it seems like fixing my swallow was useless, since all the facial fat came back.
i have been doing good posture from few months and my face sometimes and looks slightly fuller and lifted. in the post Oral Posture for Face lift? i can relate to what you have said . when i lift my head by occippital my posterior tounge touches soft palate and . but i find it difficult to maintain that posture always . many times i get head aches and face pain .
i also agree with FROMNOW that forcing posture can lead to tensions .massaging my face helps my face lift and relax.
Falooda… I am relatively new to this blog and went back to January and read your post and am in 100{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} agreement with the information on the links you attached. I was really hoping that you were still reading the treads on this site because your information is spot on. I believe for the sake of ones health and or looks, there is a process. Firstly, you must be checked for posterior tongue tie because if you have that, the posterior of the tongue will never meet the soft tissue of the mouth. Once the tongue can lift to the roof of the mouth a myofunctional therapist will help with exercises that strengthen the muscles of the face and mouth thus rewiring the brain for the new tongue position. The tongue should rest and shouldn’t be forced up to the roof of the mouth because like you stated it leads to not just face pain, but headaches. I am very happy that CP has taken a more holistic apporach to attaining looks/health and breathed new life into this topic.
Has anyone here experimented with megadoses of vitamin K2, particularly MK-4 type?
Just searching “k2 adult jaw growth” brings up several places where people are talking about adults taking over 100 times the typical daily doses for several weeks and experiencing facial growth, straightening of teeth… and some even claim to have become taller.
Best results (and full absence of negatives) seem to come to people who make sure to get enough A, D, magnesium and calcium while megadosing, which resonates deeply with what A has preached here.
I don’t think I’m going to resist the temptation to give this a try, it sounds just nutty enough to work.
I have been following this stuff for more than a year now. I appreciate everyone that has contributed!
I have a question about neck posture…
Firstly, I feel the neck posture definitely makes a difference. When I make my neck straight and feel my face, I can feel that my face muscles aren’t as tense. My tongue rises to the palate more naturally and feels like it’s pushing up more too, which is great.
My question is when we make our necks straight. Should the muscle in the middle of the neck be active? The only time this muscle becomes active is when I make my neck straight but also tilt my head down slightly (by lifting the top back part of my head to make the whole neck straighter). I feel like I can use more force with my tongue when my head is tilted down and the muscle is active but I get the feeling that the muscle is not supposed to be in use and is only meant for the head to look down.
If you don’t understand what I mean, just feel the back of your neck and tilt your head downwards, you’ll feel it.
I get what you mean. The middle area activates as I look down. Although it certainly feels more like a tendon than a muscle, because I can’t seem to “flex” it, only stretch.
By pushing shoulders down and lifting neck high, do you feel stretch all over traps and chest, and even deep stretching of fascia somewhere around shoulders and triceps (which feels very different than muscle stretching, and is felt especially when tilting the head to one side and reaching to the opposite direction with the arm your head is tilting away from)?
Have you analyzed postures of people you see in your daily life? I’m baffled by how few modern people stand straight. Especially males, who I think are more prone to suffer from stiff musculature than females (just a guess, when I was in school the girls were nearly always more agile than the boys). All I see is forward heads and exaggeratedly held bellies and butts.
Another relevant subject is the way masculinity and assertiveness is frowned upon by modern society. Many people just don’t feel comfortable with standing straight and taking more space, even though it would make a huge difference in how they feel and how they’re treated in social interactions. I still find myself standing in a less assertive stance every now and then, depending on the perceived status of who I’m interacting with. But just by noticing it and standing tall there happens an almost perceivable shift in the dynamics of the interaction. It’s as if your words are suddenly given much more value. The way you carry yourself may very well be almost as important as a good face when it comes to attraction.
In unrelated news, my cheekbones have come a little forward and wider in the past month. They’re almost at eye level vertically now when looking from side. Most perceivable changes will probably start to happen once zygos move past eye level and start giving the eyes proper full support.
Send some updated pics of yo face bro lol
I don’t have tongue tie, but like many people, I have a forward head posture. I got a new sofa & loveseat a few months ago. It is much firmer than the old one and the pillows are very firm, too. I noticed that when I lay on the sofa, I don’t sink into it like I did with the old sofa and when I put my head on the pillow, it inclines my head slightly forward which in turn plasters my tongue on the palate, especially the soft palate. It reminded me of the article that I posted a link to prevously about Native American Indians and how they put thier infants on a cradleboard with a headrest that inclines their heads forward. When I apply the same principle to when I am standing, my tongue automatically goes on the soft palate. CP & Falooda are right when they talk about head posture and its importance. http://www.nancychenderson.com/MAIN/Long_Version_Catlin_Article_(PDF)_files/100{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6}20yrs{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6}20w{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6}3Aphotos{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6}20{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6}20FINAL{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6}20for{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6}20web.pdf
Interesting read, thanks for sharing.
I know that there has been much discussion relating to tongue tie. I have a question.
Does anyone know what causes the upper lip to cover the top teeth in a smile?
I have also known all of this for the past year. I have worked on stretching the back neck muscles a lot. I need to start stengthening my front muscles though. I am going to order a neck exercise brace soon. I think that bad posture causes bad face, and bad mouth posture causes bad face, but in different ways. When the head is titled forward but your mouth is closed, the cheekbones still develop almost fully. They might be a little lower than normal but nothing dramatic. The face just looks like it was pulled down. The teeth can still be flared out as well. But when you have just bad mouth posture. Your teeth bow inwards and your palate collapses. Your cheekbones sink into your face. This in turn causes bad posture because it is hard to fit the tounge in the mouth tat this point (all what Mike new says). You see, I had bad neck posture from sitting on the floor criss-crossed playing video games. This wrenched my muscles into very unnatural positions and shaped my back very wrong. But this is not something that someone thinks about because Mostly they cannot see themselves and they don’t know what to compare it to. As soon as it is brought to light, it all makes sense. You stand with you back directly against the wall and pull your neck down stretching the back muscles. You feel how your palate is low and how your tongue is pressed very tightly against it without pressing with force. You feel how your jaw is now jutting forward to where it should be. You feel how your front teeth just aren’t far enough out. If only you were told this when you were young all of this could have been avoided. I’m sorry to say but I do not think that just fixing body posture and tongue posture are good enough to change your face. You need constant high pressure forces that your tongue just cannot deliver. I had made a device earlier this year designed to push upwards on the palate and out on the teeth using a moldable plastic called InstaMorph. I luckily had a mold of my mouth from when I was 16 (which I can see changes from then to now for my palate) and I used it to mold the plastic into a retainer shaped mouth piece. I then molded bite plates where I could bite down on, and it pushed the piece of plastic up into my palate, propelled by my bite. I could feel my maxilla being pushed heavily into my face and it felt great. My jaw would get tired after about a couple minutes but I would take a couple second break and proceed. By the end of 20 minutes, my tounge had more space, my teeth were more pushed outward, my cheekbones had pressure indicating their rising. It felt great. Unfortunately everything would reset back to how it was. This is why I said it has to be a long term force, which is very hard to get. But still I can feel my palate a little more expanded than how it was. And also unfortunately my dog chewed this device up so I have to make another one. It took about a day to make to make it right. It was a pain but it was worth it. I honestly don’t know why Mike new or anyone has not designed a contraption like this. It makes so much sense. You don’t need face pulling. You need face pushing. Pushing the maxilla up from the inside into the face. Pulling can elongate face. The bows of your face have also grown this way so you are never going to get it to where it would be if you never had bad posture. You are going to just raise your cheekbones and bring your face out, your face has already elongated. I also think that it does not matter too much that your palate is low or pushed back, but that your playmate is angled down. Give that at though. Sorry for the long post I had a lot to say on the subject and this is my first post. I have been following this blog for a while in silence. Tell me what you think CP or anybody. Thanks.
MewTwo,
Could you possibly tell me some more about head posture and the appliance you made? My email is jimminy74@gmail.com.
Thanks!
Hey can you email me at theroubeni@gmail.com
Would love to discuss what you just mentioned bc I’m sure your right on point.
Are you the facepulling.com website runner by the way?
Hi, I am 16 and male and have just found out that I have an overjet and an overbite, which makes my lips look fat and they bulge beyond my chin. My chin itself is small and weak. Are there any things I can do to enlarge my chin, as the masseter hypertrophy makes my jaw look big but my chin deficient.
Mewing and nutrition. You’re still growing so both will benefit you greatly. Make sure to supplement with K2 (both mk-4 and mk-7) and to get plenty of A, D, magnesium and calcium to support mandible growth.
Alright, thank you. I was a mouthbreather as a child and also slept with my mouth open due to enlarged tonsils. Nose breathing was difficult most of the time. I am lucky to have only gotten away with this, as I do have some cheekbone prominence. So will the results be significant?
Also, are there any specific supplements (brand) and/ or doses you would recommend?
It’s hard to say how significant the results will be. They may be subtle or very significant, depending on your individual factors.
Many pills don’t have that much of K2 in them, but Carlson has a bottle of 5 mg pills on amazon and iherb. You have to experiment with the dosage yourself.
That being said, in Japan doses as high as 45 mg are used to treat osteoporosis without negative effects. As long as you get enough other A, D, calcium and magnesium (K2 starts a process that directly and indirectly needs all of those and if not enough is available you may experience some deficiency symptoms. Google will help to identify them, should any negative effects appear), even massive doses like that won’t cause any side effects.
I will be ordering some too later this month and I’m quite excited about their potential. Many adults have experienced facial bone growth and some even adult height growth when megadosing K2.
Alright. An x-ray reveals that I have wisdom teeth that can erupt soon (a matter of a year). My maxilla can house the teeth, but my lower jaw does not seem to have enough room. Does the possibility exist for my lower jaw to be able to expand enough to house both teeth, using the protocol you described earlier?
Impossible to say at this point, but let’s hope for the best. Don’t let them pull any wisdom teeth out unless those are already causing clearly observable problems. A risk of future problems is not good enough reason to pull them out, even if they don’t erupt perfectly.
Alright. My maxilla has surprisingly good development, other than the fact that it may be a bit narrow. Would continuously exercising good tongue posture be advantageous in any way? as I have excellent projection. In other words, can a maxilla ever be too wide or too far forwards after doing the tongue exercises mentioned on this blog?
Have you ever seen someone with too much forward growth? I certainly haven’t.
Good posture is always beneficial and never harmful. Even when the facial bones have already reached their full potential, the tongue will guard against recession of maxilla as you grow older.
But what about the possibility of the maxilla coming too far ahead of the mandible. How would one advance the mandible proportionally?
Pretty much impossible imo. It’s hard enough to reach one’s full potential as it is, let alone go beyond it.
The only situations where maxilla would possibly grow too far forward for mandible are certain syndromes and illnesses which result in a very tiny jaw.
What would you say about belt facepulling for my age?
Use your upcoming wisdom teeth to your advantage.
If you have bad posture and they come out, what happens?
They apply pressure downwards..
But what if you have good/perfect posture? They still applyn pressure downwards but as you are aligned the downward force is pushed to the sides this will expanse your palate, widen your face,…
Don’t worry about not having enough space. All of this changes very easily and space will automatically be created. for them to come out.
Your palate/teeth will become wider anyway but if you have perfect posture when it happens you will have zero elongation and 100{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} widening.
Good posture + wisdom teeth coming out = happy times
Don’t ever get them removed.
Did not read everything but I hope you know you should not have braces and stuff. 100{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} natural, that’s it!
Keep us informed.
Alright, thank you for the advice, I shall follow this too and let you guys know how things go.
Has anyone here had their tongue tie released? I need to get it done, but there’s no one in my country that does it via laser.
Also, I’ve read that some adults, who’ve had their ties released with scissors, ended up with scar tissue that became tighter than the original tongue tie, or it was cut too far into the muscle causing permanent damage.
Can anyone provide some feedback of their experiences, please?

I realised that for whatever reason my account didn’t cancel… I just tried it again there and now it canceled but it already billed me for another months subscription?? I can’t post this anywhere else to my knowledge so could anyone help me/could I get a refund as it wasn’t meant to renew and only renewed yesterday and now it’s canceled? Thanks.

Thank you very much, I apologise for having to cancel my subscription – money is a bit tight at the moment but I appreciate all you do for this community and hope to re-subscribe some time in the future.
What are your recommendations for bimaxillary protrusion on an adolescent?
There are some things that bother me about this blog. And also in what people write/ask in the comment section.
There are many positive stuff too and that is very nice to see.
I came to a conclusion, it’s very simple and very clear.
It’s all about posture! Pefect posture! A straight back and neck all in alignment. What most people define as good posture is actually far from being ideal. Brad Pitt in the picture above has bad posture; his back is not in straight alignment with his neck. Mike Mew, he has awful posture. Tongue posture is only 10{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} of the equation. The rest is your body posture. As some people have already commented, when you straighten your posture you actually find that your tongue naturally goes against the roof of the mouth. It is not supposed to be hard as Mike Mew says. It’s only hard because we are trying to have good tongue posture with a still far from ideal body posture.
Our goal should be to achieve perfect posture.
While you are straightening your posture you will find it is very easy to have the tongue on the back of the roof. Yes the tongue plays its role but how your neck and back are in alignment is ten times more important. The tongue will be pressing UP o the back of the roof.
So how do we get a perfect posture?
Stretching exercises.
Activation of certain muscles exercises.
Tension release (massage, breathing exercises, myofascial release, meditation, yoga ,..)
Can we see some comments and posts on the reasons why we/some don’t believe it’s all about posture. So we can work towards concluding that it is indeed all about posture. Then we can research how to achieve perfect posture and leave all the other non-efficient talk behind.
I already know it’s all about posture and I am actively working towards it. I took pictures of myself and videos today. I expect HUGE change in the next months.
Perfect posture is in the direction having your back and neck in ONE lign and yes this will give you a double chin and a “weird” diagonal face. This is normal and evidence ( think about it! ) that your face will adapt too and move especially up and wide. Upward forces moving it up and wide.
Most of what was described and monitored in this blog is about people achieving small change with mediocre posture. How about big and easy and quick change with perfect posture ?
How long did you stand against a wall today with your chin down-front neck activating-back neck stretching ? How long did you stretch your lower back ? Did you sleep on the floor, why not?
Have you been able to get a full nights sleep on your back yet? I tend to wake after a couple of hours and find it next to impossible to fall asleep again without shifting to my side. I’ve tried sleeping on hard floor and it’s pretty much the same, only difference being that the body becomes sore sooner.
It is probably just a matter of getting used to it and trying to constantly spend longer and longer periods of time sleeping on your back.
FromNow, I agree 100{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} that when you practice correct posture without force and tension, the tongue gravitates to the roof of the mouth automatically and without force, but only if you don’t have posterior tongue tie. Tongue tie prevents correct tongue tie and correct swallowing.
Hi Tessa,
I have seen you talk a lot about posterior tongue tie. I want to get this checked by an oral surgeon and perform a frenectomy if necessary. Do you recommend anyone in London that could do that well? What would be the next step after doing the frenectomy?
Thanks in advance
The first step to correct tongue position, swallowing, and correct posture is to check for posterior tongue tie. If you have it, get the surgery- a frenectomy. After the surgery, make an appointment with a a myofunctional therapist to help undo old habits or find a resource to help with the correction. Also, there is much talk about correct body posture which is paramount and lots of good resources on this site for that, too.
I’m in the US and don’t know of a good oral surgeon in London, but do your homework and ask family and friends for a referral. Good luck.
Thank you for your reply Tessa. Really appreciate it. I have already been working on posture as well.
I misspoke. What I meant to say was that posterior tongue tie prevents correct tongue position inside the mouth as well as correct swallowing.
It seems that “posterior tongue tie” is rather common..
That’s why I tend to think that there is no such thing..
Can improper body posture/ thumb sucking/ tongue postitioning/ soft food/ … lead to what we call a “tongue tie” ?
Could you gain quicker results with a “tongue tie” ? As your posture straigthens your tongue will naturally arch upwards; with a tongue tie it does not need to arch up a lot for it to put force upwards, it’s already closer attached to the lower jaw. We don’t like that we are not able to touch the roof with our tongue (with or without tongue tie) but we are not close to even a good posture let alone a perfect one.
If there is one common mistake we all see is that western medicine treats symptoms and not the root cause. It’s wrong for so many things and the solution is usually so simple. Nature knows best.
If there really is a tongue tie and the cause of it is not what I described above, then what is the cause ?
Those who can put your tongue on the roof of your mouth and feel the slight pressure in the cheekbones.
Now put the tongue flat and press your back teeth against each other. Do you also feel a pressure on the cheekbones ?
You see it’s not all about your tongue. And no your back teeth should not push against each other in rest. The upward force will be present anyway from the lower jaw up whether teeth touch or not.
And it’s not even about that small pressure in the cheeks in the first place. It’s about re-aligning yourself. Re-align your body and your face will follow. the tongue is just the tip of the iceberg.
“The tongue is a remarkable muscle possibly misnamed, and is really part of a larger organ system of the head and neck. It is the only muscle in our body that has one end that moves freely, unattached to any other body structures and at its other end attached to eight other muscles. During the embryologic development, this muscle is initially attached to the floor of the mouth. This attachment usually partially disappears and in most cases reduces naturally from the tip toward the base of the tongue. When this piece of tissue fails to disappear or reduce its attachment, it may restrict the ability of the tongue to function and have adequate mobility
http://myrtlebeachbirthservices.com/truth-lip-tongue-ties/
Why would this piece of tissue fail to disappear so often today? When is it supposed to disappear?
If it really has nothing to do with posture and facial structures but solely with that piece of tissue that did not disappear as it should, can nature cure it on its own if we follow nature?
Can it be that it does not disappear because we drinked from baby bottles and sucked our thumb or something else; never using our tongue ?
I honestly think that over time it will fix itself and the tissue will become looser (and disappear if that is the most optimal). Remember, could it be that in the beginning stages it can even help you to gain quicker results ? Now you don’t need good posture but already with mediocre posture the tongue will naturally pull the lower jaw up and put pressure on your face. ALL of this should be easy if your posture gets better. I understand that a person with tongue tie and a person without tongue tie will go a loooong and difficuuuult road with liiitle change if it only tries to move the tip of the iceberg. Move the iceberg and the tip follows. I would even say forget about the tip for a while.
Dr Alison Hazelbaker has a blog article called, ‘Modern Myths about Tongue-tie: The Unnecessary Controversy Continues’. She says it’s a congenital anomaly which occurs during development in the embryonic period.
Apparently, tongue tie is a midline defect linked to the methylation gene…
However, she goes on to say that, “My experience as a structural therapist, and in the experience of many a bodyworker throughout the world, has shown that this type of tongue and/or mouth floor restriction resolves with simple bodywork; that the actual cause of this type of restriction is an acquired soft tissue strain pattern due to intrauterine or birth events.”
Also, there’s an article on PubMed called, ‘Importance of muscle movement for normal craniofacial development’ by JG Hall that says that facial muscles begin to contract between 6-8 weeks of embryonic development. But, “Lack of craniofacial muscle contractions may lead to ocular hypertelorism, flat zygoma and midface, high bridge of the nose, depressed tip of the nose, small and open mouth, trismus, microretrognathia, small tongue, and abnormal palate e.g. high arch, bifid uvula, submucous cleft, and cleft palate.”
I wonder if the mother’s body posture during pregnancy can affect the proper muscular development of the baby, or is it mainly genetics/tongue ties?
Very interesting articles… Maybe it is also affected by food? Lacking of important vitamins and minerals can affect baby during pregnancy.
i am doing good posture from one year and what i have experienced is that if i dont swallow properly and postion my posterior tounge on soft palate my cheeks begin to sunk in even if have proper head and neck posture.
Google “posture wall exercise” and look up some different variations. Do them. Your neck and head should almost be one line and you will feel your front neck muscle activating and your back neck stretching; at the same time your back teeth and jaws will be very close together. In that position your cheeks will never sink, on the contrary they will rise over time with or without tongue on roof.
Proper tongue posture will help to limit the damage and can gain little results over time (such as is the case for Dr. Mike Mew) but (if combined) with ideal body and neck position your whole face and skull will change dramatically.
according to mew face change is due to
masticatory effort, body posture, mandibolingual posture, soft tissue balance and cranial strains. it is combination of all these that make face attractive.

Good results!
I have tested what is called a “sound frequency”. I have been listening to it a few times a day since a week. Not only can I feel that it is doing something to my face while listening to it, but other people comment the same and I can see the results on my face it has changed for the better.
Go on youtube and type “Quadible Integrity”.
It is the one called “Youthing Facial Toner”.
This frequency also works on the skin but for what we are looking for it is especially the work on the platsyma muscle that is helpful.
I have listened to other beats of them too in the past and I can say that they usually do way more than what is only described in the description.
It is very unwise not to use this.
Care to explain in a more scientific way why that would work at all? How would you determine the exact frequencies of a binaural beat in order to get such specific results? I’m extremely sceptical.
People tend to claim how they get benefits from such things, yet everyone’s cameras are always conveniently broken or borrowed to a distant relative and no before/afters are ever shared.
Placebo is hell of a drug.
Placebo is indeed a hell of a drug.
That’s why using affirmations when relaxed with a calm mind and body is like placebo on steroids.
Now in regards to that frequency.. Everything is energy. And the frequency which is a certain energy influences another energy (your body). It is more than just brainwaves. These frequencies are made by people that can tap into way more than the general population. There are 4-10 channels on youtube that create frequencies, some way more efficient than others. I would recommend to only listen to those of “Quadible Integrity” and as second “Sapien Medicine” even though people claim to have good results too with those of “MatrixPlay99”.
I would invite you to read their site.

I have never read any of their books but I know Bruce Lipton and Gregg Braden use a more scientific approach to explain the human reality. Deepak Chopra has a book called Quantum Healing.
If you want even more scientific you can start reading/ studying quantum physics.
However I feel you are not concerned with all of this. You simply want to know if you are not again waisting time and if you will not again be disappointed. You are right; almost nobody can help you but yourself if you discover how. On Earth the blind are leading the blind.
If I were you I would read some of the comments on the frequencies. Many positive comments were made on the youthing one. AND I would especially try it out for myself.
I have made pics and a vid of myself 10 days ago. They will only be really useful in the near future when it will be clearly seen that indeed my whole skull (and face) will have moved up 1 cm.
Currently, when I apply good posture, there is a noticeable downward slope of the top of the skull which is supposed to be straight. One can force the posture to be straight but not the skull/face/head. Over time it will move up too. It has sunken over the years. This has been written about on this site too I remember vaguely.
Try the “Youthing Facial Toner Treatment” for a week. Listen to it with headphones, relax, listen to the sounds and/or feel your face.
I’m still skeptical enough to not waste time on this, but looking forward to your potential results nevertheless.
What are people’s NCR experiences here?
I’m going to start the self treatment soon. Over the past year I’ve gotten pretty unsatisfactory results from mewing and facepulling. Apparently NCR should make both methods much more effective, as it is supposed to unlock the bones of the skull which are normally held together by sphenoid.
For those who’re interested, I will start a diary on breakthematrix in a week or two.
I had to look it up. Did not know was it was. Neurocranial restructuring; even by the name it looks promising!
Are there some self-exercises that one can do ? Would you mind posting a link to one ?
The best exercise so far that I found is referd to as the wall exercise. Look up on youtube.
I do it 5-10 times a day for 30 seconds or so. I have good results with it already! Force your chin down, activate front neck muscles and strecht back neck muscles. Put teeth against each other, otherwise one might use the lawer jaw to pull head down. This exercise even works on my nose.
Hey FromNow,
Could you please post a link to a particular Youtube video that helped you?
Thanks!
What you’re talking abou is probably some kind of variation of the McKenzie chin tuck. Has your face actually changed from this, or are you just referring to postural changes?
Anyways, the basic procedure of NCR / endonasal balloon therapy is briefly inflating balloons in some or all of your six nasal turbines (yes that’s involves putting stuff deep inside you nose). This is supposed to release sphenoid bone’s hold on the rest of your skull bones, freeing the bones and letting them to assume a more functional and natural position, This should be exceptionally effective procedure for treating facial symmetries.
On the surface the whole procedure seems fishy and raises a lot of questions, but NCR practinionercs seem to be in high demand all over the world and are backed up by plenty of positive testimonials. Very little negative testimonials can be found on the internet.
I will be performing the treatment myself, because it doesn’t seem that hard to be honest… just uncomfortable. If you want to post your e-mail I can send you the self treatment guide. People on breakthematrix forum are willing to share it too.
From what I understand, NCR could be the missing variable on why some have plenty of success on facepulling and others have none, If the sphenoid bone is forced to lessen its grip on the rest of the bones, pulling your maxilla forward should, at least in theory, become much more effective.
Hey TDT,
Can I email you some questions?
My address is jimminy74@gmail.com
I emailed you a few weeks ago but not sure if you ever noticed.
Hi can you send me the self treatment guide?

does any one know what cranial strain is
It could mean head trauma, strong mewing, facepulling or inflating balloons inside nasal turbines like in NCR.
Oh yeah head trauma is probably off the list, as he was talking about what makes the face attractive lol.
in that video he was talking on factors that affect face growth
I don’t want to go off-topic, but have any of you had success with reversing big cavities? I’ve read the non-membership article(s) and saw it addressed in the comments on the last article.
Almost 6 months ago, I noticed a deep brown crater in my bottom bicuspid. I don’t remember cracking it on any food or seeing a smaller hole/spot beforehand, it seemed to pop up out of nowhere. I bought a Waterpik that quickly broke and tried brushing with baking soda/salt for a few weeks. Apart from that, I didn’t do anything else and it was thus pretty useless.
Somehow, months later and continuing to eat up to a pound of candy daily, the cavity doesn’t look much worse. My other teeth have tiny marks on them, but many were there before. I recently got desperate to fix the big one in case it does get worse and am on day 12 of no sugar and a fairly low-carb diet, though I eat fruit. After looking at what else I can try, I’ve now started taking 5000mg of ascorbic acid, 4000 IU of vitamin D, and some B12 every day. (might buy K2 as well) I also have a new Waterpik coming in the mail and pre-brush my teeth with bentonite clay. In case the absorption of vitamins is being blocked, I have a colon cleanser that I’ll start taking.
I try not to check my progress every day, but it’s hard to see if anything’s happening or even can happen. Yes, obviously 12 days is not a long time to expect results, but going from 0 to 100 so quickly in terms of diet is aggravating and I can’t say if what I’m doing will eventually be worth the effort or I’m just torturing myself. Some people feel great when cutting out all bad foods, but I don’t. I think it’s almost seen as a sin to ever admit that you’re miserable on these type of diets, but it’s the truth for me. And I’ve had great success using low-carb for weight loss, which was easier to handle because you’re encouraged to eat poorly once a week. A balance of healthy food and some sugar is what I want to end up doing as a lifestyle, but healing teeth requires no sugar at all, so I’m stuck.
Everybody online has their own theories and rules about what you can and can’t eat, brush with, etc.. and it’s confusing as hell. I keep seeing it printed as fact that enamel can’t regenerate because it’s a mineral – and yet dentists and scientists are in agreement that teeth can “remineralize”. Sounds like a contradiction. What if it’s just assumed that enamel can’t ever regrow because everyone’s so deficient in vitamins and nutrients? Practically every part of the body can heal itself, and something as vital as your teeth can only grow dentin but not enamel? Makes no sense.
Same with the idea that store bought milk is bad for you, I see this everywhere. I used to drink it constantly as a kid and had strong, cavity-free teeth until I stopped around the age of 16, which is when I rapidly developed cavities and became extremely anal about brushing and flossing to compensate. I had braces until age 16, didn’t floss because it was difficult and my first Waterpik broke in a week, and I had no cavities after getting them off. 3 months after that, I had several cavities and had tapered off milk right around that time. Years later, I still don’t drink too much milk anymore after being indoctrinated with the idea that it’s bad for you, so I don’t know what to believe and am almost afraid to do anything at this point. I don’t think I can get special milk from a local farm or any of that stuff I’ve seen advocated, nor do I really want my day to day life be even more overtaken with this annoying regimen.
*I just thought of looking it up while typing. Being in Canada, I was drinking Canadian milk. The dairy industry is heavily regulated here. Canadian cows are not allowed to be given growth hormones, while American cows are. Our milk can’t contain any anti-biotics, to the point where any farmer whose milk tests positive for them will get fined, and this is way before it would ever hit store shelves. It also has a shorter shelf life (no preservatives) and is considered the most safety tested food in the country. The only additives are vitamin A and vitamin D.
Could this be why I claim to have benefitted from drinking it when younger? American milk sounds horrible in comparison, even in taste from people saying it’s a lot more watery and thin.
I currently drink a small cup a day, but would consider very large amounts if it’d help.
Long story short, I unabashedly want to heal my cavities ASAP so I can return to eating chocolate bars (more moderately, though). If there’s a method that I’m not currently employing, I’d love to hear it. Thanks to anyone who endures this long blog post.
Reversing cavities is a stressful process, it feels like a race against time. I’ve been trying to remineralize several of mine for the past half a year after a dentist told me I had several minor cavities, despite brushing twice a day, flossing once a day and rarely eating junk. As for now I have no real answers, but I’ll tell you what I’ve learned so far.
Soon after getting home from the dentist I began reading about tooth decay and how it could be treated. After stumbling upon Weston Price’s studies I eliminated phytic acid. In other words, grains, nuts and seed. I ditched my old toothpaste and made new one myself from coconut oil and baking soda. Soon after I started drinking 1 liter of organic full fat milk a day while supplementing magnesium, D and K2. I didn’t supplement calcium, because many sources claimed it’s not needed.
Up until this day the situation hasn’t really improved. If anything, it’s a bit worse. My teeth look translucent and weak, something that wasn’t as apparent before.
However, this week I came upon several realizations whch gave me new hope:
1. There is some controversy on whether calcium in pasteurized milk is particularly bioavailable/absorbable. If this is true, then relying on milk as major source of calcium (like I had done) wouldn’t be wise. Could I actually be calcium deficient? Westerners supposedly get enough calcium in their diet, but then again a big portion of that comes from calcium fortified processed foods like cereals, which I do not consume.
2. Supplementing D, K2, and magnesium (all of which are responsible for moving calcium around the body) while being deficient in calcium would cause the body being forced to release calcium from the bones, weakening the bones, including teeth. This could explain why the cavities haven’t started healing and why my teeth have become translucent / less solid looking.
3. Eating eggshells is perhaps the most bioavailable source of calcium carbonate. In addition to calcium, eggshell contains a little under 30 different elements, many of which are useful for teeth health. According to internet anecdotes, some have even achieved remineralization with a toothpaste made of coconut oil and powdered eggshells.
So I began eating 0,5 – 1 grams of powdered eggshells a day a couple of days ago. It’s too early to talk about the benefits, but calcium COULD be the missing link for me at least. I’ll update you in a few weeks if this works. If you don’t hear from me, it probably didn’t.
However, each case is different. If I were you I’d start from K2 and see where that goes.
Thanks, TDT.
It really is a race against time. The pressure is mounting on me because I haven’t seen a dentist in 4 years, and I have a feeling they wouldn’t let me leave without immediate fillings. It’s also disheartening to be confident in our ability to heal our own teeth, and only have evidence to the contrary so far.
I’ve also been reading about Weston Price and quickly cut out most of my phytic acid intake. Sounds like all types of grain products contain similar amounts and the only way to eat grain without the acid is to rinse it in water or something, totally ruining the point. I sometimes hear of baking soda hurting enamel, though that’s probably in cases of brushing too hard and unlikely to be the cause of yours thinning.
1. A nutrition site I’m reading says milk has about 32{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} bioavailability, so 96mg of 300 are available per 250mL (1 cup). Doesn’t sound too horrible to me. Unless it’s orange juice or bread that’s fortified with calcium, milk is the highest source. I’m still looking for what the numbers are for organic milk, although there are a few generic remarks of it being ‘better’.
Westerners getting enough calcium sounds like the opposite of what I’ve seen/heard. Very anecdotal, but nobody I know eats calcium rich foods. No milk, yogurt, cheese unless it’s melted, etc…and it’s not like these people are overweight or obese. Also, I’m skimming a few articles and they say that Canadians may be deficient in calcium and very deficient in vitamin D. The US might be different, but it seems uncommon for anyone here to drink milk as an adult. Until recently, I was eating 3-4 cups of yogurt a day. Even though it contains sugar, maybe that could’ve kept my teeth from getting much worse for the past few months?
2. Sounds accurate, though I’m a little skeptical on if you are actually deficient in calcium if you’re drinking so much milk and it seems bioavailable from what I’m reading. Supposedly, vitamin D just goes into your arteries without K2 to transport it properly, so everything really needs to be taken in a chain to work. K2 is definitely a necessary one to take.
3. I’ve considered trying the eggshells before, but what stopped me was people claiming the pieces were sharp enough to damage your insides over time. While it sounds a bit dramatic, I didn’t want to risk it at the time. Brushing with them sounds interesting, considering that taking everything internally is more important. If they work out for you, I’d probably start eating them.
This isn’t based on anything I’ve read, but have you ever wondered if doing these super restrictive diets can be detrimental? In a sense, going from one extreme to another has got to be pretty disruptive. Even after the adjustment period is gone, I still wonder if someone’s body is going to be at optimal performance if they’re permanently cutting out so many foods.
Personally, I don’t feel any vitality so far, contrary to others who get huge boosts in energy after removing XYZ from their diet. It’s not even like sugar withdrawal, my body just feels dull. When starting out, I expected to also be exercising to make the transformation into being super health-conscious so my teeth had a perfect environment to heal, but I’m incapable of forcing myself to do it with such low energy. It’s kind of like I’m closing myself off to letting my teeth heal as I become more and more fixated on this. Long term results can’t come if I nitpick how it looks day by day and never stop thinking about the process. The stress from that might end up ruining the body’s ability to repair itself, ultimately causing a loop of negativity.
On the other hand, maybe a more balanced diet with vitamins and moderate exercise while not obsessing about everything and not being paranoid about eating smaller amounts of sugar every so often or putting your beef in a taco shell is a better way to go. A similar comparison is looking at some workaholics, or weightlifters who work out to the point of exhaustion. It only looks productive at first glance, but they’re just wearing themselves out.
Clearly, I’m only speaking for myself because I don’t know your full routine and maybe you enjoy doing it.
I’m just curious if taking such a hostile approach helps if it doesn’t even feel good. I’ve read a few wellness blogs from women who got quite dramatic about minor surface level cavities that they were able to heal – after practically going Amish to locally source all of their food, take fish oil, vitamins, and brush with a myriad of different substances in addition to constantly oil pulling. It still took 6 months.
Going back to when I was a kid, my diet was pretty healthy with occasional junk and my teeth were fine. As I got older, I ate more and more junk and dropped milk, and my teeth suffered. I used to be hyperactive and obsessed about losing weight back when I was fat, and after months of failure, I only had success when finding a balanced method I didn’t totally hate doing. Maybe this is the same thing.
Good luck with what you’re doing.
If you’re not feeling well then there is indeed a pretty good chance your diet is deficient in nutrients. And like you say, maximizing intake of nutrients should be the key to healthy body, not limiting them. If your body feels weak on a certain diet, then you can be sure not much healing is going to take place either.
Ideally good food makes you feel good to the point that following the diet becomes automatic and something that you’re very willing to do.
I forgot to add that pasteurization’s effects on calcium absorption was talked even on Weston Price Foundation’s website.
I’m still a bit unsure what to believe in, but on the other hand user A here said in some earlier post that his mandible grew quite a bit on a diet that included tons of feta cheese made from raw goat/sheep milk. If something results in bone growth, it’s very likely beneficial for tooth remineralization too.
On top of absorbable calcium, cheese from raw milk has loads of fat soluble ADEK vitamins, so that may be something to look into if eating eggshells doesn’t sound that tempting (your concern over irritating or even damaging intestines are quite legit in my opinion).
As of today, I’m going to start transitioning into a new diet. Nothing too strict, but aim for 3 full meals a day (I haven’t done this in years), exercise, the same list of vitamins as before + K2, and go for at least a litre, maybe 1.5 litres of regular milk a day. Also, some sugar for the sake of balance/sanity, but a slightly healthier choice like baked cookies. On the bright side, at least it’d fuel even more milk consumption. 2L would be great if the calcium was used properly.
I imagine you’re already doing most of what I’ve mentioned, but I’m extremely sedentary and don’t eat in a structured way, so it’s a fairly big change. I’ll post an update in a month to see if it somehow helped me.
I do remember A’s post about growing his mandible, it would be nice to have seen before and after photos on that. Considering that most people don’t eat anything with goat or sheep milk, I guess it wouldn’t be impossible for them to have such shocking benefits.
I was just reading up on cheese from raw milk and almost bought it but didn’t just in case the effects are negligible among all of the vitamins and milk I’m going to drink, which I admit doesn’t make much sense. I’ll probably get it next time.
All in all, it seems like theories are everywhere and nobody truly knows the perfect protocol to take for healing teeth. Weston Price is probably the closest, though it’s even harder to follow his method in modern times. I was surprised to hear Mike Mew say in a recent Orthotropics video that he recommended treating marks on the teeth with fluoride. Since he essentially does alternative orthodontics, I assumed he might take issue with traditional dentist practices as well.
as people age some lose their facial height face looks short but that does not look attractice. i have seen many people whoes faces have become shorter but dont look good .
when i relax, my lower jaw opens and automatically my posterior tounge touches soft palate and starts to push my maxilla near my nose and my nose looks less prominent even by touching which means maxilla has come forward
