Recently I was reading a blog I like to follow and found a very inspirational post.

I already knew about this healing technique, I tried it a few years back but I dropped the practice only after few days. This day I decided to watch the video anyway. Basically hindsight tells me I was not ready for this whole thing back then. I know now that it was because of my ego. Back then I was into all this “create your own reality” stuff and my ego liked the idea of a Hawaiian Dr. that was able to heal an entire mental hospital without even seeing the patients or working with them because my ego liked the idea of being powerful and to be able to create change like that but my ego didn’t like this technique as soon as it heard this Dr. mention in an interview(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL972JihAmg) that we have no free will and it is Data that is running us. Now this Dr. is pretty hardcore and does not sugar coat anything, when the interviewer asks about “compassion” and “being aligned” and “what does the void feel like is it what Buddha explained as….” Dr. Hew Len just laughs and says “I don’t know what you’re talking about” or “You’re funny.”
Back then I didn’t like his reactions, I really wanted him to tell me something. something concrete that my ego can hold on to. Instead the Dr. kept saying “You go to zero” “There’s nothing at zero. NOTHING” “All this stuff about compassion and love is all bullshit, its foo-foo stuff”
Now when I watch the video I get what he is saying. The Mind or the ego mind is ADDICTED to stories and concepts. You can generally tell by closely watching one’s reactions. If one begins to get little offended then you can be sure it is the ego creeping in the back door. And that was exactly what was happening back then when I saw the interview. I even projected this onto him and I remember viewing him as kind of unlikable person but it was all my issues lol.
He also said the conscious mind is only aware of 15 bits of information but the subconscious is dealing with 15 million bits of information, so how could we possible know what is going on. We are all clueless.
Ouch my ego really didn’t like that one.
However, life caused me to find the Presence Process and now looking at Dr. Hew Len’s teachings I can see that both Michael Brown and Dr. Hew Len is talking about the same thing. Becoming 100{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} responsible. Peace begins with me. Developing the most important relationship in one’s life which is the one we have with our inner child (the subconscious, the emotional body). The intellect does not know. Ultimately, developing a more intimate relationship with the divine.
Dr. Hew Len however teaches us to clean 24/7 moment to moment. As far as he is concerned, his only purpose to being on this earth is to clean. He sees life as a gift from the divine to give him one more chance to make amends.
Continually he repeats in his mind. “I’m sorry.” “Please forgive me.” “Thank you.” “I love you.”
All of this sounds kind of hoke to you perhaps. but if for a second you entertain this idea that our soul is billions of years old and if indeed it was created at the very beginning of creation then we had many many past lives. We have all committed crimes and from law of cause and effect we must pay for those crimes. So the law of cause and effect states that we reap what we sow. We cause hurt to others than we must also experience hurt to ourselves so we can learn what it is we are doing.
This Karma I think is what Dr. Hew Len is calling it the mortgage on our soul. So we come back into physical existence over and over again and repeat the same sufferings over and over again…pretty much bound by our Karma, but why? because we are not learning from our lessons, we are not taking responsibility for them. But what Dr. Hew Len is saying is we can undo all of that and erase all of the Karma or Data by willing to take 100{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} responsibility. The beauty is that the divine is always listening and so unconditional with its love that as soon as we utter the Ho’oponopono phrase I am sorry Please forgive me Thank you I love you. we are saying that we are 100{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} responsible for whatever is happening, we do not know what is inside of me that is causing this, and I am sorry. And then I love you. Expressing love to the divine but also to the data, the darkness itself. The miracle is that the divine then cancels out the data and erases it to zero. Is that not the most profound thing?
Dr. Hew Len is giving me a deeper understanding of what is meant when different teacher’s say “Love your shadowself.” “In order to get past a problem, show love to it.” “Fighting and resisting it will not work.”
If you want to put this topic in more perspective please watch this video by Sri Bhagavan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03SWqkFpEnc
He explains the imprinting process that Michael Brown talks about. When are we programmed. And this program is divinely orchestrated, everything that unfolds when the baby is getting programmed is happening divinely on purpose nothing on accident. From the music that is playing on the radio to the different dramas unfolding between mother and father all of this is on purpose as on purpose as a tattoo artist carving a intricate design on ones arm. We are imprinted. This is the program. This is the data that then controls our whole life. So again he tells us we really have no free will. If we want to change our life then we must change this program. It is simply amazing how Dr. Hew Len, Michael Brown (Presence Process Author), and Sri Bhagavan ALL SAY THE EXCACT SAME THINGS. WOW MAYBE I SHOULD REALLY PAY ATTENTION NOW LOL.
The problem is the memory that is in the computer bank of the subconscious. So can this look in piratical terms. I will use one of Michael Brown’s example.
A child is conceptualized. While being in the mother’s womb. Mom and Dad have a big fight and Dad storms out of the room starts his engine and just drives off in anger. Mom feels abandoned. This affects her physiology in a precise way in the way her heart beats to her breathing pattern to everything else which is all being recording into the child’s memory as vibrations of Abandonment.
Then this program tends to repeat itself throughout the child’s life. When the child is a toddler the mother is busy and has to leave the todler for a while. the toddler feels abandoned.
When he is in grade school he has a best friend in the neighborhood and the best friend has to move to a different state. Again the child feels the same abandonment feeling.
And when the child grows up into an adult, he attempts to marry a woman quick because he has abandonment issues and at the day of the wedding his bride does not show up. Again he feels the same abandonment feeling. However now since he is an adult he will begin to mentally justify what is going on and point the blame to what is going on out there. He will blame the girl for causing him to feel this way. And he will drink whiskey this time to blunt out this awful feeling of abandonment.
What this man does not realize is, what he is experiencing at the altar is a memory resurfacing. Nothing new is happening. And he is 100{ae022d2295c0485893c83c8425b5bfafafba893c2d19b1bb9bc4c7c9bf3eeba6} responsible for what is happening because the program is in him.
And he will continue to suffer until he suffers enough times to the point he exclaims “Why does this keep happening to me!” and his only choice from there is to be free of the program or not to be free. Which according to Dr. Hew Len is the only real choice we have.
This man’s story is the microcosm of the macro, it is the story of humanity. Then can this man blame his mother and father for imprinting him this way? Well the parents were imprinted as well from their parents. And on and on and on down the lineage of ancestors, each generation passing on the baton of imprinting to the next generation. It’s called the Human RACE. lol
But if the imprinting was divinely orchestrated and on purpose then this man was indeed suppose to receive this abandonment imprinting because divinity is giving him another chance to make amends with it. So really the parents were doing their part and they are not to blame because perhaps in past lives this man caused abandonment for others and now he must learn from it. So again if you hold onto the concept of past lives and our soul being millions or years old, you never know what sort of forces are out there directing our lives. So the parents are not to blame, even before conception the data was in the soul itself. Parents and child both their souls simply share the same data but the data was already in the child’s soul. The parents just did their divine part in imprinting the child’s emotional, mental bodies but it isn’t that they do it unto the child. The child is co-creating the experience as well. So from this perspective, we are all responsible for the imprinting we received from our parents.
I can tell you I struggle with this a lot because I catch myself blaming my parents from time to time. But I know this is only a misconception.
Sri Bhagavan teaches inner integrity to solve and undo the programs. Which is simply looking inside and see what is going on. (Dr. Hew Len would say “What is going on in me that I am experiencing this.”) I have been doing this practice for a year now ever since presence process and I think that is the reason why I was able to take inspired action to start on my physical restructuring work and I was able to find the best orthodontist in Michigan. I am constantly looking inside it is almost automatic tendency now.
But MAN I am really feeling the power of the Ho’oponopono prayer. There is something magical in these words themselves. Honestly I’m still just at the front door of this incredible technique but I’m already being surrounded by the beauty of it, delving me in, inviting me in further into its majesty.
I’m sorry. Please Forgive Me. Thank you. I love you.
Here is a really powerful Ho’oponopono video which gave me major goosebumps when first listening especially because some Japanese is intertwined with it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ac5SGwRPv0o)
Just only few days of adopting this practice and I’m already experiencing big releases and tensions dissolving in my body at a much faster rate than ever before. Dr. Hew Len says the beauty of the divine is when you let go of one Data then a lot of times a whole slew of other data are let go together that you weren’t even aware of. and if we really knew how much data was actually getting cleaned (remember conscious mind is only aware of 15 bits and unconscious is dealing with 15 million) every time we uttered the Ho’oponopono phrase than we would never cease cleaning.
So reminding us we never really know how much change we are accomplishing and how much impact it is having on our world. Dr. Hew Len’s advice is to clean incessantly. Non stop.
Back then I really hated Dr. Hew Len for saying one has to clean moment to moment but now I really appreciate him for embodying that so we can all see what is possible. Really I think the only agent for real change is this. Inner work. More specifically erasing the Data or Programming in our subconscious.
I just love the simplicity of Ho’oponopono but not underestimating the power of it. Also understanding that it may be simple but it is often not always so easy to actually walk it day to day.
